Yes! RSS is fantastic. Put simply, RSS allows you to see any new stories anywhere on the web from one place on your computer. You install a program called a "feed reader" (which looks like an email program), and then add "feeds" (which is a source of news from one website) as you find them.
So, you might add the Andover Primary feed, BBC News feed and many others. If you look at your feedreader regularly, it saves you having to go to lots of websites to see if anything's new, because it visits all the websites for you to look for news. When you see a story that interests you in your feedreader, you can usually double-click to open the story on the actual website. It's really easy - give it a go! Install one of these: Then, click on "Andover RSS feed" in the menu, and when the page loads, choose your feedreader from the dropdown and add the feed. Then, choose some more that interest you: Most blogs will have a feed - look for the orange RSS feed icon and click on that. Sometimes the feed is called Atom - look for this as well - it will work the same. Specific Andover Feeds Lucy Young's blog Doris' Day
